Rep. Josh Siegel has decided to support a bill that doesnt allow ICE agents to wear masks or drive unmarked vehicles or basically be undercover during their operations. Josh do you even watch the news? I get your point ICE and law enforcement should be identifiable (once they go and try and make contact with someone) because there may have been a few incidents were someone pretended to be ICE and were not. But people pretend to be politicians, police chiefs and Mayors and are not. Whats the difference?
However, my man do you realize or understand why they are so secretive? Don't you watch Fox news (Im sure your a CNN guy) when it shows ICE agents being attacked by people. Their vehicles getting destroyed. What do you think would happen if their vehicles said ICE or immigration enforcement on the side of them? They would immediately be put in danger.
I totally support them covering their faces when they are serving warrants for fear of retaliation to themselves or their families. Wouldn't anyone want that type of protection? BUT why is it that bad guys can cover their faces when they loot and riot but your cool with that And arent signing any bills to stop that. But lets support a Bill that as long as violent illegal criminals know ICE is there its okay. Lets give the bad guys time to run.
Summing this up, Siegel then goes on and says hes okay with masks if law enforcement is doing undercover operations, raids or tactical situations. WHAT do you think ICE is doing?

Is this sleeve bag really the best Lehigh County has to offer for Executive? He is going to cost LC a lot of money in lawsuits and harassment claims if he is elected. If you meet him, you instantly know he is a predator and creeper. .
I am so confused. Five years ago these lunatics were telling us all that if we didn't wear masks we were killing grandma and grandpa. Now masks are bad? Mmmmkay. Next they will be warning us about the dangers of of vaxxing...
Elected office is a magnet for those with diminished intellect and marketable skills. Oh they believe they are the best and brightest and will guide us peasants out of the darkness. Like the average seven year old believes that he is going to fly through space on a rocket ship. It's public service if they serve a term and move on. It's self-service to climb into office and remain on the public dole for their "career". I hear the benefits are amazing.

As a Lehigh County Democrat who opposes Seigel's policies and the overall direction of the County Commissioners, I was planning to cross over and vote for Roger McClain, but I'm very concerned that he doesn't appear to be running much of a campaign. McClain beat a good candidate (Mike Welsh) in the primary, so he must be a viable candidate to win a county-wide race, I'm just worried he does not appear to be prepping for a close race.
I suspect McClain will be another Don Cunningham... do the exact opposite of what he stated, and quit for a better paying job before the end of his term.
I can't help but wonder if that presents another pension for a short period of service?... Grubberment treats it's own quite well.
I understand he's at his home in Florida. Why did he even run if he isn't even going to try to win? I don't know anyone who wants Seigel to be our county executive but if the Republican candidate doesn’t even show up he will lose and we will be screwed big time. Is this the best the Republicans can do, put forward a Joe Biden type candidate who thinks he can win just by being on the ballot?
He has to win to do that and so far he isn't even trying to.
Don Cunningham could not measure up at the state job when he actually had to produce.

At least 25% of the Mayor’s resume is more or less accurate. He does speak several languages and has something of a work history,
however inflated. Josh brings absolutely nothing of substance to the table.
The guy is a dope even by the standards of the contemporary Democratic Party.
Siegel is waaaay too wacky for the job. Rodger is too old and disconnected from the job world. At least Rodger won’t do much harm to the county or give the impression of a circus act.
The Matt and Josh show will be entertaining if disastrous for residents.
The mayor has Rosetta Stone/Babbel level Spanish. I cringe each and every time he attempts to speak Spanish. It is my first language and he is embarrassing. Just stop.
