Plausible Deniability?

As expected, Duane Morris would not share any info.  So who knows if they found harassment, discrimination or signs of a hostile work environment by employees working for the city of allentown. I am sure they did. There was mention of some isolated discrimination cases but they were taken care of.  So everything is cool, lol. Especially based off of their common sense  recommendations, I can see how this money was well spent.

Im going to summarize some of  them cause this was the biggest waste of money I ever saw by the City.

1. City needs anti-discrimination training. Really? But ai thought there was no issues?  A data management system since I guess no one logs any complaints anywhere. Go figure hence why there are no complaints to be found. And bunch of other things that should have been already implemented.

2. Lets see H.R. needs help. Alot of help in basically everything.  Didnt see that one coming.

3. Per Councilman Hendricks he vowed Council will back up the people or something.  I stopped listening while he spoke. SORRY.

Basically, the city needs better training on how to treat its employees like decent humans.  Being 2025 I can see why the 3rd largest city hasnt implemented basic manners and fairness to its employees.   What Morris shared is common sense.  People dont treat this like some type of epiphany these lawyers just had. H.R. from what I hear simple does not do their jobs.  They dont handle complaints.  The department heads bury the problems.

Morris reps famous quote:

I dont even want to write about this.  But too quickly summarize how we got here. Scott Curtis, former FBI agent was hired to investigate mentioned claims.

Mayor Tuerk and some council members realized Curtis's report would bury them.  They came up with some excuse as to why the Curtis procurement process was illegal and said they didn't want to use his report.  So they pay Curtis off  and add a non-disclosure clause and hire the Duane Morris firm.

Total cost Curtis - $60-$70k

Duane Morris- $350k with 2 months not invoiced yet. Est $450-$500

When it comes down to it all, the Mayor, H.R department, Police Chief, city council and others realized Curtis would expose their corruptions and possible illegal acts.

This cost the tax payers 100s of thousands just so these people could keep their jobs.  Dirtier than a farmers underwear after working 16hrs in the field.

If the city paid for something, it should be usable and accessible to all.  Even if the procurement process may have been incorrect.

Everything is a "personnel issue" is total bullshit.  How cant you answer if you found any discrimination, retaliation, or unfair treatment of employees!!! You were paid over $400,000.  This appears like a coverup.

How employees must feel:

Sorry but how anyone could vote for Mayor Tuerk or any of these council members is beyond me. They only have their best interest at hand and only care about themselves.

Once the investigation changed direction Daryl's kid got a nice promotion over much more qualified employees. Thank God he'll be gone. If they are smart the rest of the city employees should never forget this day. Absolute power corrupts absolutely!
