I always have this thing about the weather and the meteorologist's ability to forecast properly. Especially when it snows.
Are they ever right? I know there are variables that can change the weather but let's be honest the snow event from Saturday and Sunday was a forecast that was completely missed. They predicted 1-3 inches, but it quickly turned 6+ inches. They claim they can't predict weather more than 48 hours in advance, uhm they couldn't predict this one 2 hours in advance.
The Farmer's Almanac, NOAA season outlook, WeatherChannel, AccuWeather should turn into an online gambling website.
This guy on the eastside had to be creative. But he pushed the snow into the street and the cops gave him a ticket.
Then they throw huge numbers out there and get everyone in a panic and its sunny 72degrees. Or how many times does 1 inch turn into 6?
This was when the YMCA kicked the homeless out of the warming shelter this morning:
I'm not a meteorologist, but what job can you say. "Well, we are looking at, if this happens, but then this could happen, but then this happened and basically be wrong about everything". Then go on the news the next day and act like nothing happened or that your forecast was right. You don't get fired either.
People rely heavily on the weather and modern technology should allow for more accurate results.
There is a forecast of a huge snowstorm coming in a week. For real. Let's cause mass panic for a week then it rains and no snow or tracks far North or South.
A meteorological forecast could easily be compared to the mayor of this city saying at the State of the City that everything is great.
Financially, we are in great shape. Taxes won't go up. crime is down yet people don't feel safe at all. Everyone is treated fairly. My cabinet is amazing and needs raises, yet what are their accomplishments? Of course, the biggest delusion -- morale in the city is up. They are both rarely right and one blatantly lies, and the other can be just wrong with limited or no consequences. Actually, both have limited consequences.

I am sure everyone would wish to have a weather reporting job. This like the news casters feed us all lies and propaganda. Milk bread eggs a storm is going to come?
Weather prediction has gotten way worse since funding was cut by the administration. Less weather balloons going up make for inaccurate predictions.
You are part of the propagandists many issues, claiming weather balloons are still used in predicting weather? You and your boys biden and obomanation think the public is clueless to the electronic modern equipment at there access to report weather. Don lemon go sell your cognizant clueless act to your embezzling illegal migrants from third world nations.
Quiet, piggy.

Huh?!
Wow, Abraham , some of your readers need a hobby.
Anyone see Binder and Pungo's resolution regarding the budget? Funny that the stakeholders making the decision DO NOT include residents, but only people that are in Tuerk's pocket. It should be pretty simple, if a budget is not passed it should default to the prior years passed budget.
I just wanted to note that Allentown hasn’t cleared the bike lanes on most city roads yet. In fact, it seems that in many places they’ve plowed snow from the middle of the roads INTO the bike lanes.
How am I supposed to get around the city this week, if the city isn’t clearing the bike lanes? I know the Mayor is concerned about safety, and right now things are dangerous.
Maybe they could just make the bike lanes wider by banning cars and trucks on the roads so I could get where I need to go. That would be a better solution than what we have now.
Living here since 98', I always thought the A-town ordinance for snow removal from sidewalks was 24 hours until someone pointed out to me that it is 10 hours. Had a neighbor fined $150 last year for one of those 1/4" powder covers last year because it wasn't swept off in 10 hours, even tho it melted away by about noon. Point being, I think we can take care of A-town's money shortage if we can just get a snowfall that ends about 8-9pm and then send out the ordinance squads out by 7 am sharp with cameras. Keep your fingers crossed.
The Mayor isn't concerned about safety, because Allentown is the beating heart of the Lehigh Valley and it is safe, healthy, and clean! He's SHOWING UP for another cause now.
I always assumed it was 24 hours as well, thanks for the heads up. I checked other cities within PA and we are on the conservative side in terms of 10 hours. Maybe Binder can take that on too.
There shouldn’t be a default budget at all. These elected officials should do the jobs that they were elected to do and not focus on bike lanes, giving taxpayer money to their supporters to keep them supporting, protecting dumb ass employed children that can’t get a job otherwise from the Tuerk retaliation movement.
The budget process this year was a joke and it doesn’t help either that we have a finance director who is not capable of explaining a damn thing. Then you have a mayor who shows up to anything with a camera and reporters, well…except the council meetings.
The city is circling the drain with these morons running it.
You like tureky could tie a pencil wagon to your bicycle and join the circus carnival one sided acts that are personal friends performing the sideshow act of painting the bikes in the street for this farce. I'd love to see vikie or one of the many glutinous rowtons riding bicycles in these farced lanes even if they recreated themselves with wegovy or one of the many unfatening drugs being pushed as the one sided cure.
I thought you like BBWs Redd¿
Just wanted to deadicate this post exhibit to ZIPPY that you made claims of clueless cognaZant acts murder by design in a route 22 car accident? Now back to your gapping sessions improving your udderZ? 644pm
