Pray for Summer

Residents of Allentown took to the city council meeting to complain about the lousy snow removal effort of the city.

A resident as mentioned before in a post cited Apd was on her block after midnight blasting their sirens to get people to move their vehicles.

Also mentioned was the fact people are getting tickets when they move their vehicle to a location so snow removal can be done. In my opinion the citizens are getting so screwed by freaking snow removal. Woken up, cited, towed, and there is still snow everywhere. Great job. Plus more snow on the way.

I personally have seen several parts of the city not plowed and mounds of snow. Residents have to relive their drivers test just to get into a parking spot.

The reponse by Council President Napoli was he reached out to the APA and is working on putting together a joint meeting of council and the authority on April 8 to answer questions regarding parking enforcement.

April 8th? When its 70 degrees out? Such good planning. Isn't there anyone competent that can be in charge of the city and its departments??

Napoli quoted on WFMZ

“On the issue of snow removal, there is a public works committee meeting on March 11 and we will be discussing the snow removal with our public works team, and learning more about that,” Napoli said.

Learning more about what? Snow removal? Simply plow to the nearest intersection, have a front end loader load snow into a dump truck and go dump it at fountain park.

And of course Mayor Tuerk had nothing to comment on the snow removal. Pretty hard to know what's going on in the city when your in Washington DC or California. Wheres your next useless trip on the city taxpayers money?

Matt Tuerk doesn’t care about Allentown. He cares about himself and his ugly troll secretary.

I am certain his next trip is already planned. The Conference of Mayors next three meetings are listed below. Look for our tax dollars to pay for at least one, if not all.

Civic I/O at SXSW 2026
March 12-14, 2026
Austin, TX

Medal of Honor Institute - Leading in the Moment: Values in Action (Mayor’s Cohort)
April 16-19, 2026
Arlington, TX

94th Annual Meeting
June 4-7, 2026
Long Beach, CA

He and she will take all they can from Allentown. This is as good as it gets for both of them. Just like the others in leadership, they know they have no marketable skills.

Marketable Skills= a pandering pondering idiots doing exactly as they are told from downtowns bumbling idiots. The skill set entails stealing from the entire whole of pa, let the pandering pondering idiots have the crumbs from the city.
Just a quick thought were has all the snow clean-up fund gone for 25, 26 of this fine year?

That is a great question. We wont get any answers unless an outside agency audits the city books. The Controller doesn’t serve those that elected him. He is a servant of Matt’s. The legal team led by Adam Rosenthal is as corrupt as Matt Tuerk and the majority of his cabinet. I leave Charles Roca and Mandy Tolina, out of that group

Where is the ethics conference at? He needs to go to that.

Hyman for Mayor

Agree !! Please Nat save this city!

I would put Chief Roca in that group. Ever wonder why he can't get a job anywhere else? He wants out but his ego and master wont let him.

I think citizens should pay to send Tuerk to the Medal of Honor Institute in Austin, TX for copying the Downtown Arch idea from Easton (6th & Northampton Streets), for winter time yard waste collections and snow removal accomplishments. Our City deserves special recognition from the Institute

Matt would spontaneously combust if he entered the Medal of Honor Institute. He hates the US, refuses to wear an American Flag lapel pin, disrespects the US Flag in front of City Hall and looks down on veterans.

This week's weather hasn't cleared all the snow and now they predict another 6 inches.... heaven help us!!! We're in for more fun...

Don’t worry, his secretary is in charge of the city this weekend so it ill be another catastrophe. The Mayor is currently booking his next trip out of Allentown so he is not here. Where he is going no one knows. But watch for his next TikTok to find out.

Roca is a big headed idiot who just allowed a rapist back on the force in a leadership role. He’s part of the problem. Say the truth of who these people are. He knows damn well Krasley is a piece of filth. He ran around going to different leaders in the city trying to rush him out his job bc he was a bad person. Roca needs to speak up.

You clearly haven’t read the case and are speaking with no true knowledge of this case. Evan is a wonderful guy and an amazing officer. Justice was served yesterday. Hopefully the Chief focuses on the officers who are really the disrupters and gets them out of the APD.

You don't say is he a giver or a taker or both?

A slimy twit like him is most definitely a taker

Well, folks, here we go again... rousted with bullhorns for the snow emergency. I hope the plow operators will be able to find the curb this time, instead of 6-7 feet away from the curb... in other words: WHERE THE CARS NEED TO PARK!!! If they can't accomplish that, leave us remain parked and we'll finish the job... at least we won't have to shovel snow that accumulates under the car because it will be on TOP!!!! Pinheads...

This blog site is disgusting. Talk about incompetence. This blog posts irrelevant and inappropriate comments without moderating. No wonder MM dropped his link to this page.

Well when are they going to do something about all of those chairs in the streets. I have been taking them and scraping the. People still do it and the snow is virtually gone. Too bad in this city so many residents can only think of the big "I"
