Summer isnt even close but the past two days are bringing out the best in the city.
I had to drive across town this evening and to my surprise I heard more loud music and saw more dirt bikes than ever. There were groups of those little douche scooters that people buy because they can't afford a real motorcycle everywhere. Isn't there helmet laws and required lights for those things?
I saw dirt bikes driven by the tough boys who have to cover their faces. They are so cool. And their bikes are so great. Its rare I ever see any girls on the back of these things. Wonder why. Losers.
Then I see the real cool guys with the 3 wheel Spyders blasting spanish music for the whole city to hear. Why do people spend their childrens college fund to mount speakers all of these machines? Its outright obnoxious.
Now of course who is going to curb this 3rd world behavior. Do do do.. Chief Roca? I'm waiting for his yearly Facebook or news article explaining how APD is doing zero tolerance with illegal dirt bikes and YOU WILL BE CITED. Same bullshit every summer. Yet the problem is always here.
We could always ask this guy what he is going to do about the dirt bikes.
I do have to say, if yesterday and today is a taste of this summer in Allentown. Holy shit be prepared for your quality of life to be at an all time low. The loud music, the loud cars, the reckless driving, its all back.
Soon enough the out of staters will be here to invade and ruin our parks.

Yes, these true losers ruin everyone else’s quality of life so they can prove how “big” they are if you catch my drift. I live in the West End and had to listen to their “machoness” for quite a while. Their bs makes me more racist by the day.
I don't know how the police could ever begin to address Allentown's newest warm weather recreational trend of smoking dope, blasting loud music and riding dirt bikes in the street. I understand that its an important part of the cultural traditions of their homeland, but it sure does make some of us second guess city living while longing for the peace and quiet of the suburbs.
Thank you for stating the obvious truth about the general disorder that reins here in Allentown.
The people get what they vote for ! I understand he's in P.R. Possibly trading his bike for a scooter.
This fool is out of town again? honestly, what does he do for Allentown? What has he actually accomplished?
Does this mean his secretary is in charge of the city? She cant even find Allentown. Great choice McEars!
Don’t worry, Roca has a plan to engage with the community and start training on better alternatives.
I am willing to bet McEars Allentown PA is giving out grants for dirt bikes through PAL ABE.
If he is not because he is on another city funded business trip, you can bet his CED Director and Secretary are handing them out on his behalf.
I am quite suprosed that Tuerk
Isn't out there celebrating the kids freedom of expression with another poor fitting suit, goofy sunglasses and a big trans pin on his lapel.
Yes, this past few warm days were perfect to open doors and windows only to subjected to a cacophony and a cavalcade of aural bullshit! I seem to recall two laws passed in the not too distant past that claimed your car could be impounded for loud exhaust or booming stereos.... how quickly they get massive amnesia!
