Did anyone go to the Mayor's Easter egg Hunt? I did. What a horrible showing. Where was everyone?
I remember years past, hundreds of kids would show up. Lots of great prizes and fun.
Do kids have no interest in doing egg hunts anymore, or is it just the Mayors egg hunt?
Considering Midway Manor had a good showing I am thinking it was just the above mentioned.
Who is in charge of organizing this event? They dropped the ball this year. I am just so surprised a free event did not draw 100s. Its Allentown. So if its free, everyone should be there

Sadly, the effort might have been there, but people don't care about egg hunts in Allentown
Motorcycle rally are much better, we can tie up major intersections and nothing happens!! Thanks Mr mayor we’re just letting off steam !!!
No one cares about the city special events and the low turnout at the Easter tragic mess proves that fact. The quality of the events has seriously tanked in the years since Pee Wee moved on to the 5th floor. Maybe because he is too focused on lunatic left initiatives and that has caused a large number of residents to turn away, or maybe it is because of his low rent special events team, or maybe a combination of both? Or maybe it is just that no one really likes Pee Wee?
