Your council meeting recap
A lady asked if the rocks at fountain park would be moved so her people could use the basketball courts. No, the city has no plan to move those rocks. The city seems to think that no one plays basketball there or uses the space for recreational activities. She is absolutely right in asking about these rocks because there is no other park in Allentown that limits access like they do at Fountain. Remember the homicide that was there two years ago? I'm not going to write about the parks being destroyed again this year because we all know it is inevitably going to happen.

But wait for all the New York and New Jersey plates around Fountain Park. They drive two hours to play basketball. LMAO.
Sadly, I am certain there is going to be a homicide at a park this summer and at least 2 more motor vehicle fatalities. I'm probably low on that guesstimate. It is awful to even write that but this is the reality of inaction by the Police leadership and Administration.
Two others spoke in response to the child shot and killed at McDonalds. They asked for help to educate youth, incorporate the community in coming up with ways to prevent violence in the community. I feel for these people and those affected by the violence. Will it ever stop? Where was the chief?
Is it me or are there fewer and fewer city representatives at these meetings? What happened to accessibility to city staff and elected officials?
I am not even going to ask why the Police Chief isn't doing anything?
Something should have been done years ago but the mayor has no desire to commit police to the issues that plague Allentown. Funny a shout out was given to a Lt. Leonard for his concern with the youth death. Didn't hear much about Chief Roca doing anyhing.

The Globe Trekking Mayor is out of town again so we got the message from him loud and clear that he isn't concerned about Allentown.

Briefly spoke on the Quality of life task force? WTF is that? A force that talks about the problems everyone knows but does nothing about it. By the time they actual do something the summer will be over. Here are quality of life initiatives -- 1. put money to the key items in the Recompete Grant instead of taking money to pay salaries of overpaid employees. 2. Do something to address the unhoused situation. Even if it is a policy that outlines roles and responsibilities, get something done for once. 3. Stop the mayor from being absent from his duties in the city. 4. Figure out the lawlessness on the city streets that occur each weekend.
Its literally a never ending cycle of nothing ever getting done with this council. No one listens to the people. They just say, I agree, or I'll look into that, or something should be done. Um your the people that can create change. Can you please do something for the good of the people?
And council ALL voted yes on every item on the agenda. I wonder if they even read or understand what they are voting on?

Its funny the police Chief always has a "reactive plan" for everything. Try being proactive for once. Lets see some proactive plans and numbers.

I heard the turd is in Georgia or somewhere in the south at some conference. The Long Beach, California conference of mayors trip is coming up in June so watch for him to go yet again and waste taxpayer dollars.
Let’s also talk about how fat ass Kistler talked about. Grant funding and position funding through the general fund and claimed it was too difficult to discuss because it involve crazy math? Is she an idiot? Wait, yes she is. Her department has multiple people working on grants and she can’t figure out how to properly charge the right account accounts? Sounds a lot like games being played with money yet again by this dumbass Director. Did anyone notice her in the back taking notes and texting on her phone? Clearly spying for the mayor and reporting immediately.
That thing you speak of is a disgrace to all humanity and wasn't she once in charge of the allentown health department, dammit the health care needs tha that thing will and is in need of is costing tax payers triple it's annual income. Now that right there is some crazy math 1/10th the work energy 10/10th the pension?
