2027 Tax Prediction

I cant help to think what the tax increase will look like next year. As we approach budget season my sources are saying the mayors administration is trying to prepare or show a balanced budget. They always do this and hide the real costs.  The finance department is a joke.   I cant wait for all the department heads to ask for their raises again.

Here are some of the wastes of money that will cause your family's vacation fund to be depleted next year.

Remember this stat.  A 4% property tax increase is equal to approx. 1.5 million in revenue.

1. The golden police station.  I can only imagine this was a Chief Roca idea to try and leave some type of legacy behind.  It sure wont be for fixing quality of life issues thats for sure. Or for keeping the corruption down. Est cost. 40-50million over 30 years. 80-100million total cost with interest.  This will result in approx. a cost of 3-4million a year for the tax payers. Or 8-9% tax increase.

2. All the capital projects being built.  I really dont know them however, Ms. Patel stated there were several. Who knows the cost of that.

3. The 7th St./Hamilton St. bike lane traffic mess that is being designed.  Some of it is grant money, but still the dumbest idea on Hamilton St. since the arch at 12th St.

4.  The police contract is up this year.  A standard 3% raise per year will add a deficit costing atleast a 2% tax increase. Of course the greedy cops will probably want alot more than that.

5. Stormwater scam.  6.75 million needs to appear to cover the lost income. Also if this money needs to be paid back for those ripped off   Oh shit. Lets see my math, losing 6.75mil and pay back 6.75mil equals 13.50mil.

6.75 million is going to take like an 18% tax increase. 13.50 million is roughly going to take a 36% tax.

3-4 million Golden Police station

1 million police raises

6.75-13.50 million storm water

10.75-18.50 million needed

28.60%-49.33% tax increase

Now those are extreme numbers so I would caution and side with the lower 28.60%.  My numbers aren't exact for all the monday morning quarterbacks. However, I truly think the city will come in at 15-18% because they will cut each departments budget to lower the gap.  Also they will ask for money to come out of the unappropriated funds.

I am leaving out a bunch of items that could affect this tax increase.  Such as litigation. The city gets sued all the time for wrongful terminations, police accidents and excessive force, workplace harassment etc. This is an undetermined amount, but the city has probably anywhere between 30-50 lawsuits at any given time.  One big suit tho could cost millions.

Oh wait, heres a monster cost

The firefighters and Vicky Kistler so desperately need a 75 million dollar firestation and health bureau.   I dont think this will happen tho. I bet the firefighters wish they wouldnt have given their 4.5 million of ARPA money to the police. You hose strokers arent getting it back now.

There is absolutely no way their isnt a tax increase for next year. No matter what, the police station, police contract, and storm water mess up now all need to be covered.  Thats 10million for the taxpayers to cover, the way I see it.

I started this blog about a year ago with intentions of holding our government leaders accountable through uncovering the Truth.

The Truth has many faces depending who is trying to convey it versus saying it.

This blog has exposed the unnecessary spending by the city. Uncovered the useless positions in the city.

Obviously, the mayor, his managing director, the departments heads, unions and basically anyone with a management role is an idiot.  You guys are all clowns and should be ashamed of yourself for your stupidity in running a city properly.

None of you will ever get it.  Your current job is the end of the road for you. Having Allentown and a management position on your resume is like having Starbucks on it. Actually you can have Starbucks on your resume as your only experience and still get a management position.  What a joke.

To lay it out one last time.

Rosenthal- assistant solicitor- you are a 3rd grade lawyer at best.  And you still suck at it.

Agosto fire chief- bro have you ever even put out a real fire? You aren’t worth a photo.

Kistler -CED director- your staff hates your two face ass. If you were Pinocchio, you would totally be Fucked!!

Patel Fiance director- you are as dumb as they come, and cannot keep an ethical financial book to save your life.

Napoli- council President you are trash, plain and simple.  Its so easy to see.

Roca police chief- you were barely a patrolman. How can you lead a police department with no experience?  First work on your haircut cause damn,  then your Big Ego.

Affa councilwoman- please retire, your brain is so scattered anymore.

Binder councilman- grow some balls and quit trying to please everyone.

Mota councilwoman- pick a fucking side already.  Either  your with Tuerk or against.

Gerlach councilwoman- you may mean well with some of your agenda's, but lets not forget you hate the police, think homeless people should have what the working man has, and you want to give every non-profit all the city's money.

Boyer who the hell knows- you will always only be a Barista to me.  Your useless.

Kane managing director- frat boy,  stick to managing the boy scouts.

Toothless Tuerk- if pathetic had a sister who thought she was a cool hip latino, no seat bike riding, dumb tattoo having, wannabe gangsta gold tooth showing, zero friends having, worst mayor in the history of Allentown piece of dog crap, you would be it. Actually you are it. Your political career will be over in 3 years then you can go back to Colorado.

Lots of dirt going to surface.

Basically, I have managed to get over 200,000 views, and 3400 comments in one year, all because people hate Allentown and its leaders.

I wish everyone the best of luck if you live in Allenhell. Live laugh and Leave. Be safe.  Things can only get worse.

Abe

Frank stfu. I betting Abe is close. Only way the city gets under a 15% tax increase is no new fire station, and major budget cuts. City is a joke. Im glad I moved in 2018.

6.75 million needs to appear to cover the lost income

Not lost income, lost grift. The stormwater scam is apparent when the “budget” is short money when the PA Supremes decrease the grift. Until criminal penalties are levied against “stormwater” taxes spent on non-stormwater items it will remain a grift. This is a shining example of misdirection. Most of the water that rolls off of your “impervious” surfaces soaks into your lawn and down into the earth. The lion share of water going into storm drains is from the street. Your impervious surfaces are not a contributing factor to a declining stormwater system. Electards who recklessly spend are the sole cause.

Arguing otherwise is intellectually dishonest. You are like children playing peek-a-boo and then dress up as an electard.

This blog is the best in breed. Carry on!

Roca, Shahda, Krasley, Fey.....all went to high school together....friends covering up for (until one of them didn't) and promoting friends...if you look hard enough, I bet you can find a photo of them together on a sports team...corrupt as it gets

Wasn’t the illegal stormwater tax another one of Pawlowski’s legacy achievements?

Of course, he was expecting to be long gone and serving in the Governor’s office or the US Senate by the time the tax would be found to be illegal. But it would cover up his financial mismanagement, and that’s all that mattered.

He was gone, but not exactly as planned.

I hear that Frank Kane has been going around saying he runs the city and Tuerk is mostly hands off anymore.
Tuerk is brilliant. Tank the city and hire a fall guy before it is too far gone. Then when it inevitably comes crashing down you can blame Frank.

Right on the money! Spot on

IIRC, the stormwater/impervious surface baloney started in Maryland... I may be wrong... In Maryland and other places it is illegal to catch rainwater in a barrel! This is all part and parcel of complete control over us, the taxpayers that foot the bills for all this craziness.
It's a big tell they way other municipalities have quickly jumped on the bandwagon. More money to piss away for the gruberment and less for us to live on.
When will the non policing police start cracking down on these crazy drivers that speed thru stoplights and stop signs??? You can't believe what my street sounds like all night long!!!

I think it's a very frank appraisal of the current situation.

Attacking the truth teller is a clear indication that the truth is being told.

How many criminal agents does past and present operator's of allentowns CED employ. This all for the city's underhanded criminal acts seen and unseen?

Vicky Kistler and Mark Hartney are two of the biggest (no pun intended) wastes of taxpayer dollars. They enrich themselves and ignore the public they serve. Kistler refused to help a family who lived in bug and rat infested housing. She dismissed them all.

Keep it up and the FBI will be here Sooner
