After those 2 paragraphs I was actually commending you in my head for being a decent human being to a response to a horrific shooting. One that was able to do exactly what should be expected of a human being…someone who put aside differences.
Then you turn to this divisive and destructive comment:
"The purveyors and perpetrators of hate soon become its casualties. The fires they fanned soon rise to consume us all, vicitms and victimizers. No one is safe and nothing is sacred. "
So are you implying since no one is safe others are going too or deserve to die because of their views?

Abe. Thank you for posting. In all honesty I had no idea who Charlie Kirk was until yesterday. I don’t pay attention to pundits and activists, or try not to. I prefer to watch the news and research facts over fiction
What happened yesterday to that man in front of his beautiful children and wife is disgusting. I am saddened beyond belief that this is where our country is right now.
I pray for this country, Charlie and his family.l will also pray for Josh Siegel because he clearly has a dark heart and darker soul.
Someone like him should not be running a lemonade stand, let alone a county in Pennsylvania. The voters need to see his response to this horrific act and vote accordingly.
It is his default setting. Just like Tuerkey who showed up late for today’s 911 memorial ceremony, the first he has done since he was elected by the way.. then made the entire event about him and left out why there is a memorial. Oh, and had a gun salute the day after a man was shot. Forgive me but 911 remembrances have been signified by a bell ringing, not gunfire. Yes they are used for memorials, but the timing today was so wrong.
So to paraphrase what Josh Siegel is saying is this, “”What goes around, comes around” and you, Charlie Kirk created the conditions for your own killing,”
Josh Siegel is a sick and heartless man trying to insert himself politically into a heinous crime that shocked the conscience of good and decent people around the world.

You have a know nothing Finance Director,, a CED Director who crushes anyone who needs assistance in the community, unless it benefits her, an HR department that was just blasted in public for being a failed department, and a Public Works Director who is known in the community to be linked to drug dealing and trafficking.
I mean, this is the crap Allentown is dealing with and our elected officials in Council and above are just as corrupt.

Siegel makes me ashamed to be a democrat. I don’t even care anymore if Siegel is a democrat (or republican), he is woefully unqualified and far too immature to be County Executive.
I urge my fellow democrats to not vote for Siegel. I’m not saying vote for the republican, but I absolutely won’t be voting for Siegel.
If we want things to get better, we have to hold ourselves - and our candidates - to a higher standard. Voting party for the sake of power isn’t making things better.
If electing the likes of Siegel is where the party is heading, I’m getting off that bus. We need to be better than this

As a Democrat, I too am very concerned about the far left fringe of our party taking over Lehigh County. Jon Irons was bold enough the other day suggest that Zach Cole-Borghi was arrested by the Lehigh County Drug Taskforce due to the color of his skin. Last week he was publicly quoted as saying "we need socialized housing". How did we get to this point? This is not my parents Democrat Party and Lehigh County residents deserve better.
10:09 - Irons also said "...prisons should be abolished". Think about that for a minute.
I'm sorry, but some people do belong in prison. How would what Irons in proposing make us safer?
