Look at the pay difference between the Cabinet and the SEIU that are fighting for 2%. It should be noted that the Police Chief is at the top of his pay scale and has no room for growth.
You cant respect greedy people. But they will complain about how they deserve raises. But then let the people who do all the work suffer. All EGO driven bosses. Yet they get little respect from their subordinates who laugh behind their backs.

ABE. Thank you for your support of SEIU. You are one of the only social media platforms that is championing for the Union. The city administration has continued to present a disrespectful and laughable counter to our requests for the new contract.
This chart shows the disparity in wages that we are trying to correct. Now, this does compare cabinet directors to SEIU staff but what you will notice is that this continues through all non-bargaining, fire, and police staff when you compare salary trends at ALL LEVELS.
For further illustration: The CED Director will receive a $4.60/hour raise and the Emergency Vehicle Technician is currently projected to receive a $0.81/hour raise with the city's paltry 2% offer.
Mr Truth (or is it Ms Truth?) should mention that suspended ((but not adjudicated) officers get paid because the FOP bargained for that protection.

The FOP cant bargin for suspended officers who are facing charges for heinous acts while on duty. Really? Thats scum all around. So the taxpayers should pay while someone awaits trial? Seems like something the chief has power over and is selective on who gets it.

I’m sorry but what I cannot respect is how SEIU does not strike against the city, how much more abuse can the employees take. SEIU are most abused employees in the city. While we talk about raises how much of a raise is the director of public works getting? 🤣 the union is supposed to protect the employees, reach out to the NLRB and get this process started. Clearly the administration has shown that they can careless about SEIU… STRIKE!!! STRIKE!!! STRIKE!!!!
In Pennsylvania, the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) oversees union strikes, UTILIZE YOUR RESOURCES.. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.. THERE ARE MANY STANDING WITH YOU GUYS

After the Mayor, the CED Director is one of the most self-serving and nasty people that I have ever known. I worked with her when she was in the health bureau, and she was a perfect Jekyll and Hyde. One minute she would be praising someone, next tearing into an employee, and then would start crying and blaming her outbursts on something/someone. Nutjob. So glad to be out of her department.
