Such a great conference

Well, media diva extraordinaire Matt Kardashian-Tuerk has quickly returned from his global jaunt to Morocco to attend a “conference” and immediately called a press conference to shift all attention to him. He looked rather jet-lagged and disheveled while standing at the news conference podium, most likely because he had to cut his two-week vacation to Morocco short.

The news conference provided essentially no information that wasn’t available already through the DA’s office, so I am not sure why he needed to call it at 5 pm on a Friday. Oh wait! He needed to look like he “showed up “for Allentown, even if he wasn’t here during the critical hours.

The firefighters and police officers were probably so annoyed to be standing with him after working non-stop on the fire and subsequent investigation. They stood there and listened to him take ownership and lie about the mayor’s office involvement when they are the true superstars in this incident.

I can’t say enough how amazing the firefighters, police, and EMS were fighting this fire and responding to the community.

Tuerk thanked the Fire, Police, EMS, Building Standards, and Streets department but then he thanked the mayor’s office?! He said they were up into the late night/early morning working on communications.

Not sure where the communications were going, maybe to the residents of Tangiers Morocco? Maybe they are still working on the communications and haven’t sent them out? Either way the mayor’s office, as should always be expected, failed again on getting information out. Remember Snowmageddon during the winter when the city was so negligent that they went silent and did nothing? You would have thought they learned something from that situation? No chance.

I would honestly like to know how much the city had to pay for overtime to pull off this wasted conference. It is clear that it was put on to show the community that Tuerk is here and that the case is solved after 48 hours. He is right, it was solved after 48 hours but he had absolutely nothing to do with it being closed. He was at a Moroccan bathhouse and then on an expensive early return flight for a jog in the park and a worthless press conference, even WFMZ realized there was no news here – they cut the feed early and returned to normal programming. I prefer Judge Judy anyway.

It’s hard to take any messaging seriously from this administration. It always shows up late, polished, and completely disconnected. The city’s problems are real time. His responses feel like reruns.

If he spent half as much time in the city as he does traveling and curating his media presence, maybe the message wouldn’t always feel out of touch — or arrive after everyone’s already figured out what’s going on.

It should be known that this isnt a Hyman property. WFMZ and the Morning Call have all reported that the owner of this property is Urban Residential Properties, John Palumbo.

WFMZ .com Mar 2026: "The plan is for a 16-story, 360-unit apartment building at 249-301 N. Front St. Urban Residential Properties plans to demolish the former American Atelier furniture factory to construct the building."

A fellow Allentonian made this.  So funny

Holy shit Abe. I can’t keep up with your posts this week.

There is a lot I want to say but it is best to just remind everyone that this mayor is a manipulative fool and embarrassing to the city

3 years and 5 months left, unless he is thrown out or jailed before.

ABE, one must investigate the benefactors that names most likely come from other parts of the country. There are ties locally that use the cyman islands as there money laundering factories comming through california to Allentown pa. Than most of all were the kids wearing the orange shirts prominently displayed in this act of risking a catastrophe with malice and forethought. Now last but far not least did they call Matt and report they were and had started the fore?

How can we be sure there really were 2 kids who started the fire? Due to supposed young age and other factors, we might never see or hear from any of them. This COULD be a quick and clean ‘scapegoat resolution’ made up by officials to clear the entire matter away quickly without further investigation. Don’t ever think this kind of subterfuge doesn’t already happen.

We could use a few whistleblowers to confirm this is playing out exactly as being described. Our government and news media these days must be believed only with great caution. Lying is at epidemic levels in both groups.

Now Tuerk scolded us at the press conference and told everyone he has read and heard the chatter and was there to give factual updates. He SAID it was TWO JUVENILES. The king has spoken. No more questions peasants.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Tuerk and Kistler are already working with a developer to bring in a data center. Watch the homes opposite the Atelier be condemned.

Maybe not a data center, but I think it was already in planning to become a large apartment building. Seems that apartment effort is now being fast tracked with old walls being knocked down within hours of the Tuerk press conference. How that knocking down process can happen so quickly is curious to me.

The mayor did look disheveled, fidgety and nervous. He is losing his teeth, and his hair is seriously thinning. Maybe another underlying condition or addiction is possible? I hope he gets medical attention.

it is awfully fishy. a former manufacturing site is likely still full of chemicals that require expensive environmental remediation. it’s a convenient turn of fortunes that a couple of errant youth would throw a few molotov cocktails into a building that has stood as background noise in their community for their whole lives.

This is defamatory, Ed DeGrace is working to unmask Abe and subpoena the trolls who spread falsehoods about Hermano Tuérk

Next time you talk to DisGrace be sure to let him know about the people on social media who are vocalizing their disgust with this mayor.too. It’s everywhere FYI

Big Ed eats turds

There I fixed it for you.

Better. Thank you. Although we really didn’t need to know about Ed’s deviant coprophagia nature. Watch out, he may come for you.

A bunch of old timey nay sayers. I for one am glad the Mayor is learning about International Urban Management which coordinates municipal, economic, and social development across global cities. It guides sustainable expansion, climate resilience, and infrastructure investments. Allentown residents desperately want, need and desire these types of essential services.

It’s nice to see the Tuerk’s are followers of the truth blog.

We have largely zero point zero fucks to give about sustainable expansion, climate resilience, and infrastructure investments. This shows just how out of touch McPronouns and his band of hipsters are. We do care about crime, rampant double parking, and general chaos that goes unchecked because McPronouns is too busy virtue signaling to actually be effective as an executive.

"Mayor" Matt's daughter is doing an internship in France... I'm sure it was just coincidental he had a conference in Spain!😉

How about just paving the crumbling roads, cleaning up the litter, or having the yard waste picked up every week in the summer? Those are the essential services I’d like to see.

I guess the other things are better because he won’t be held accountable for failure in those areas (like climate change).

Pawlowski thoughts?

I am getting alot of messages about residents wanting Ed Pawlowski to run again for mayor.  Legally, I dont think he ever can unless his cri...
