I love to read and share books and things I have learned. You know they say knowledge is power. I do enjoy Molivinsky on Allentown, and Lehigh Valley Ramblings for their articles on different local and national subjects, but I feel a bulk of my readers need information I am about to share.
I know that many people who are friends of mine struggle everyday going to work. Be that because of bad bosses, a coverup investigation, or maybe their human resources department is awful. Some just feel unwanted and out of place.
Well you are in luck. I am offering this free knowledge to Allentown employees. Below are a list of books that department heads should budget for. I mean last month city council gave two random guys $300,000 who stated they would be able to bring people back to downtown. Yet had no plan to offer on how they were going to do it. Hahaha.
Here we go.
This book offers in depth knowledge on how to survive in that awful place called work. Aka city hall, parks department, police department, etc. Learn to have patience when your dumbass boss tries to flex their power. Know their big egos are out of your control.
The second
This is an absolute must have when your a city employee. How the Duane Morris report didnt recommend this book as mandatory for all employees including a true/false test at the end is beyond me. Despite the high horses some bosses think they ride around on, their subordinates would love nothing more than to beat them with a cue ball in a sock. Most employees dread the sight of their bosses and quickly make fun of them once they leave.
My third wealth of knowledge:
As most city employees can probably already offer several things they currently do to pass the time. Such as, tic tok, sleep, gossip, take smoke breaks, hit the flask, ignore the phone, and my favorite make themselves unavailable. Here are some other tips that may help.
My last offer of knowledge if you absolutely cannot find time at work to read the other 3 books is
You are not powerless to the "man, the boy, the wannabe" or whatever you want to call your boss.
Sorry found one more this really is only for two people and they wrote it. Will definitely top the charts within 2-4 years if spending keeps on happening.
Enjoy my collection of knowledge I hope it helps. Remember just when you think your job cant get any worse, it will pull a Houdini on you.
Please share some work experiences whether they be good or bad.

Chris Hendricks is doing quite well in the Parks and Recreation Department, thank you.
Are you suggesting that things are not on the up and up inside the City Administration?
How dare you!
Chris Hendricks is a stellar police officer. He has not control over who his father is. Leave him alone
What does Chris Hendricks have to do with this post? One can only suggest Daryl wrote his kid is doing great at his job. I dont think people think hes bad at his job. Its just how he got it, and how daddy votes with yhe mayor so he keeps him there.
Um I dont think they are referring to Officer Hendricks you idiot. Daryl's son Chris works in the parks department in some upper management position. This blog is great
Is this page planning on focusing on any truths in Allentown? So far you have delivered a bunch of complaining about nothing.
Officer Chris Hendricks is the very epitome of excellence in service.
The truth in Allentown is that the current administration is a dumpster fire.
At least Daryl Hendricks kids went through the Allentown School District. Where do Mayor Matts kids go to school?
The TRUTH in Allentown is that most everything coming out of this administration is some kind of bullshit. The Mayor’s entire act is a fraud.
Allentown School District— where 24% of students are proficient in reading and 10% in Math. That is an Allentown Truth
Anon 755 what your hearing is people showing their disgust with Allentown and the Mayor. That is their truth. Arent you complaining because people are complaining? So shut your mouth. Go blog on dear Abby.
Addressing reality is not “complaining”.
The sad reality of Allentown is visible to any rational observer.
That is fine that it’s their truth, does that mean there is an ounce of truth in what they write here. you are assuming their comments are based on some facts. The attacks of the mayor I am seeing here are assumptions and are just intended to be mean spirited.
Nepotism and incompetence are rampant in the cities politics.
This is the truth.
@9:51
That the mayor is an incompetent and a liar is on display for all to see. The city, like the ASD, is circling the drain.
Use any metric you choose.
The Mayor himself has no faith or respect for the Allentown School District.
